In cooperation with the Conferences and Workshops Committee at the Agricultural Research Center, the National Gene Bank organized a workshop entitled “Preparing and Writing Competitive Research Project Proposals”. The workshop was held at the Conference Hall of the National Gene Bank, Agricultural Research Center, Giza, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohamed Mostafa El-Fouly, former Head of the Agricultural Division and Emeritus Professor at the National Research Centre.
The lecture addressed several key topics, including preparation for proposal writing, components of a research project proposal, key considerations when drafting research projects, expected project outputs, beneficiary institutions, and the most important funding agencies supporting research projects.
The workshop was attended by a distinguished group of researchers from the Agricultural Research Center, other research institutions, and Faculties of Agriculture.
