In line with the directives of the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Mr. Alaa Farouk, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Adel Abdelazim, President of the Agricultural Research Center, and Prof. Dr. Nevin Abdel Fattah Hassan, Director of the National Gene Bank, the National Gene Bank
received a delegation of 40 students from the Alexandria Official International School.
During the visit, students toured the Bank’s various departments and laboratories, as well as the storage facilities and greenhouses, where they were introduced to the vital role of the Gene Bank in conserving diverse plant species and safeguarding plant genetic resources.
