El-Gemmiza Agricultural Research Station organized a valuable scientific seminar on Sunday, 21 December 2025, entitled “The Roles of Gene Banks.” The event was held at El-Gemmiza Agricultural Research Station in cooperation with the National Gene Bank..
The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Suleiman Abdel Maboud Arab, Deputy Director of the National Gene Bank for Extension and Training. This event comes as part of the National Gene Bank’s ongoing efforts to support and develop the capacities of researchers and staff, and to strengthen the research and extension system in a manner that contributes to the advancement of the agricultural sector and the achievement of sustainable development.
The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Rabie Abdel Fattah El-Shafie, Director of the Station, along with a number of researchers, members of the research staff, and their assistants.
